Josh “Bubba” Samuelson will be hosting the second annual Mid-Summer Extravaganza on Saturday, July 22.

The event began as Bubba’s birthday party, but has continued to grow into a big get-together involving big bikes and bigger stunts.

The morning ride will begin at 10:30 a.m., returning at 1:30 p.m.

Upon completion of the ride, there will be a temporary shutting down of portions of 6th Street SE and Cherry Avenue to accommodate the motorcycle stunt ride sponsored by Greasers Only and Lane Splitters.

Also returning for the kids and the young at heart this year will be the 140-foot slip-n-slide.

Keith “Hawaii” Yonemura returns with food. All proceeds from his hot dog stand will be donated to Frazee Rescue.

The event is open to the public and runs well into the evening hours with live music and more racing. Off-street parking will be available and the event is free of charge.

Anyone looking to stunt on the street or get more information text (218) 841-5544 or search Mid Summer Extravaganza on Facebook.

The host site is located at 603 Cherry Avenue in Frazee.
