Alcohol may have been a factor in a rollover crash that injured a Missouri woman early Sunday morning in Toad Lake Township.

Kylie Elizabeth Stepp of Springfield, Missouri, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s hospital in Detroit Lakes.

Stepp, 26, was southbound on Becker County Road 37, at Highway 34, when her 2018 Ford Edge rolled, coming to a stop in the ditch, according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

Whether Stepp was wearing a seatbelt either could not be determined or was not reported. Airbags were deployed and alcohol was involved in the crash.

The accident was reported at 1:11 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 5, on dry pavement.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Office, St. Mary’s EMS and the Wolf Lake Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
