Friday, Aug. 4
3:33 p.m. Assist with questions about a permit to carry from another state.
11:37 p.m. Assist with a traffic stop that started in the Abbey Lake area. State Patrol arrested driver for DWI.
Saturday, Aug. 5
3:48 p.m. Assist with a medical.
4:17 p.m. Assist with potential burglary/suspicious activity in DL.
6 p.m. Assist state trooper with a traffic stop.
Sunday, Aug. 6
8:29 p.m. Assist in serving civil papers.
10:04 p.m. Report of an underage male buying beer. Under investigation.
10:15 p.m. Report of a vehicle broke down. Vehicle was moved to a parking lot.
10:41 p.m. Business alarm downtown.
2:14 a.m. Set of keys and wallet turned in from the gas station around 10 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 7
11:04 a.m. Assist with a medical.
3:33 p.m. Report of a neighbor’s dog that has come after their dog two times. Dog owner said he has an e-collar, but the batteries were dead.
3:46 p.m. Report of someone stealing aluminum cans from the collection cart at the rescue hall. Under investigation.
8:43 p.m. Questions about a leash law in town as a dog ran up to them but did not leave the yard.
9:12 p.m. Assist deputy with a traffic stop. Female got pinched for driving while canceled-Inimical to Public Safety, and husband was taken to jail on a warrant. Quite a way to spend date night!
9:55 p.m. Assist with a suspicious vehicle on railroad property west of town. Unable to locate.
10:48 p.m. 911 open line in town. Elderly male had issues hanging up the phone.
11:44 p.m. Assist with a driving complaint on Co Hwy 54. Male driver arrested for DWI by deputy.
Tuesday, Aug. 8
2:47 p.m. Assist other agency by notifying person in town that the male that had assaulted them was being released from custody.
1:46 p.m. Caller reporting that he was scammed on Facebook Marketplace. Complainant lived in Otter Tail County and needed to contact that agency.
Wednesday, Aug. 9
8:50 a.m. Complaint of several kids bikes and toys being left on the sidewalk. Officer talked with parent and the toys were removed.
9:58 a.m. Vehicle unlock at the care center.
Thursday, Aug. 10
10:28 a.m. Fire alarm at the elementary school. Contractors on site set the alarm off. No issues.
10:49 a.m. Party found a cell phone on St Hwy 87 a few miles east of town. Officer was able to track down a relative to come get the phone.
11:20 a.m. Assist landlord with eviction process.
12:09 p.m. Background check for landlord.
2:43 p.m. Assist with a welfare check on a female. Officer found the female in Frazee and arranged for family to come and be with her.
