The Early Care & Development Foundation of Becker County (ECDF) will be accepting grant applications for new and existing child care providers located in Becker County from September 15-30. 

Grants will range between $500-$2,500 and are intended to support the growth and retention of child care providers in Becker County in any of the following focus areas:

• Training/Professionalism

• Capacity/Additional Staff Support

• Equipment/Facility Improvement

• Awareness/Appreciation

Becker County currently has a child care shortage of over 600 child care spots, especially infant and toddler care. The ECDF was created in 2022 by a group of leaders in our communities who wanted to create long term child care solutions throughout Becker County. The mission of the ECDF is to strengthen children, families and workforce in our communities through supporting child care now and into the future.
