Frazee had its best offensive game since 2014 as the Hornets defeated the Roseau Rams by a score of 52-15 on Friday night. It was Frazee’s third win its last four games as the Hornets improved to 3-3 on the season. The last time the Hornets scored more than 52 points was on October 25, 2014 when Frazee defeated Bagley in the Section 8AA semi-finals by a score of 56-12.

Individual stats and information were not available at the time of press.

Perhaps equally as exciting as posting 52 points on the scoreboard is the opportunity to get back to the friendly confines of Frazee High School. The Hornets played all of their home games on the road last season and through six weeks of this season as they reconstructed the Frazee football field. The last time the Hornets had a home game was the last regular season game of the 2021 season. Seventeen games later and the Hornets will be hosting a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday night.

The ribbon cutting ceremony of the new football field will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tailgating at the football field will begin at 5 p.m.

Frazee will host the Park Rapids Area Patners, who come into the game with a record of 4-2 overall. The Panthers are averaging 29.2 points per game on offense, while surrendering 23.5 points per game on defense. Last week the Panthers fell to Barnesville by a score of 52-0.

The Hornets average 28.3 points per game on offense and give up 15.7 points per game on defense.
