The Frazee Hornets traveled west on Highway 10 last week for the annual Dale Skallerud Memorial Meet in Hawley on Thursday night. Despite dark clouds and rain overshadowing the meet, the Hornets competed with well over 100 runners in both the boys and girls meet with teams from across the region. 

Four Hornets set season best times on Thursday night as Frazee was led by Jonah Sharp who finished in 36th place with a season best time of 18:58.7. Cael Pausch also set a season best time of 19.24.1 to finish in 55th place, while Brady Borah finished in 60th place with a time of 19:34.2 and Tyden Schaefer finished in 86th place with a time of 21:30.1. 

Alex Helmers and Daniel Winn both set a season best time last week as Helmers finished in 96th place with a time of 22:03.2 and Winn finished in 118th place with a time of 26:51.1.

As a team the Frazee boys finished in 12th place overall with 308 team points. A total of 15 complete teams competed in the race.
