The Frazee Hornets finished in seventh place at the Heart O’ Lakes Conference meet in Pelican Rapids last week. The Hornets finished with a team score of 174 points and were led by Jonah Sharp who finished in 20th place with a time of 19:08.2. 

Brady Borah was the second Hornet to cross the finish line when he took 28th place with a time of 19:46.6, Cael Pausch finished in 33rd place with a time of 20:45.6, Tyden Schaefer finished in 41st place with a time of 21:45.3 and Daniel Winn finished in 52nd place with a time of 28:43.5. 

Perham won the conference meet with a team score of 26 points, while Hawley took second place with a team score of 65. 

On the girls side of the meet, Madi Perine led the way for Frazee as she finished in 26th place with a time of 24:00.3, while Lola Hoehne finished in 29th place with a time of 24:32.2. Bristol Larsen finished in 37th place with a season’s best time of 26:04.8 and Caleigh Pausch finished in 40th place with a time of 27:13.8. 

The Hornets will now turn their attention to the Section 8A meet in Bagley, which will be held on Friday at 4 p.m.
