The Frazee City council purchased an appraisal for $5,000 of the Baumgart Auto Repair property along West Maple Avenue. The appraisal is being sought after the property owner, Mike Baumgart, contested the special assessments placed upon his business. He filed the appropriate grievances during the requested time frame, and presented the council with his own appraisal, which suggested the $21,000 assessment did not increase the property value by that amount.
