CornerStone Youth and Community Center put their new mural on display for the first time last week. Emma Ketter helped design and paint the floor mural at CornerStone engaged the community and students in gaining input on a mural design for the front of the building this summer. She took their input and added her own artistic flair to come up with this design, according to CornerStone board member Karen Pifher. Sharon Jons and a few others finished the mural on Thursday, Nov. 30 and hung it. “Seeing what our youth have stepped forward to do is amazing and I love watching their growth,” Pifher said. “Next time you see Emma or Sharon make sure to thank them for all their time on this project and don’t forget to take your snapshot in the mural at Cornerstone”
