A Detroit Lakes woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision on State Highway 34 in Osage Township on Sunday, Dec. 17.

Teresa May Hilden, 40, of Detroit Lakes was traveling westbound on Highway 34 near mile marker 64 in Becker County when her 2008 Ford Focus collided with a 2005 Ford F-250 driven by Arvol Wilfred Lookinghorse, 69, of Green Grass, South Dakota.

Both vehicles were traveling westbound on State Highway 34 when they collided.

Hilden was transported to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids with non-life threatening injuries. Lookinghorse was not injured.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, airbags did not deploy in either vehicle and alcohol was not involved in the collision.

The accident occurred at 6:54 p.m., on road conditions that were snow-covered and icy.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Carsonville Fire Department responded to the scene.
