In a match that came down to the final weight, the Frazee Hornets fell to Badger-Greenbush-Middle River in the Section 8A finals on Saturday at the Ralph Englestad Arena in Thief River Falls. The team beat Mahnomen/Waubun, 65-6, and defeated Crookston, 61-15 before falling to Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, 31-30. The Hornets end the team part of their season with a record of 10-8. This weekend they will participate in the individual tournament at Crookston High School.

The weeks leading up to the day everything changed for Robert Tollefsen were fairly predicable. He worked hard at his job with Hanson’s Plumbing and Heating, set evenings with his wife Michelle and their two adult children Krises and Ryan, and looked forward to replacing carpet in his house with laminate flooring. The subtle clues that something was wrong came to a head while Tollefsen was on a work call. He collapsed. “When I came to I called the office and they sent someone to relieve me, and I went to the doctor,” he said. A short time later he was told that he had type B Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

According to Frazee Police Chief, Kelly Shannon, the driver turned onto 5th street (BC 29) and turned west onto the railroad tracks. She drove the vehicle about 48 feet west before it became stuck on the westbound tracks during an apparent attempt to turn off the tracks, Shannon said.

“We never win anything,” said Marc Heisler. “We don’t go anywhere,” said Sandy Heisler. What they meant to say is that they never win anything or go anywhere otherwise. Marc and Sandy Heisler, owners of Heisler’s Country Store, just had a big winning which will result in a big trip. They won a seven-day Caribbean cruise for tow, valued at $3,222, in the Minnesota Lottery.
