Tonya Marie Willprecht, 48, of Evansville was transported to Sanford Hospital with life threatening injuries after a one-car crash just south of Ottertail on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Willprecht’s 2007 Ford Expedition was traveling northbound on Highway 78 and veered off the road in the curve just south of Ottertail City. 

The Expedition then crashed into a driveway approach,  vaulted and came to a stop in the eastbound ditch.

The accident happened on dry pavement near the intersection of Highways 78 and 108 at approximately 11:49 p.m. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was determined to not be a factor in the crash.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Battle Lake Police Department and Henning Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
