Ratz takes 13th place at state gymnastics meet

Elsie Ratz wrapped up her successful senior gymnastics season with a pair of 13th place finishes at the state meet on Saturday. Ratz, who is a senior at Frazee High School, but competes for the Detroit Lakes gymnastics team, finished in 13th place in the vault with a score of 9.350.
The Frazee senior also finished in 13th place in the bars with a score of 8.975.
Ratz was one of four members of the Detroit Lakes gymnastics team competing at the state gymnastics tournament at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul over the weekend.
She was joined at state by Addyson Laux in the all-around, Morgan Hausten in the vault and bars, as well as Kate Taves on the bars.
