Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach invites high school students from Minnesota’s Seventh District to participate in the annual Congressional Art Competition.

“The art competition gives high school students an amazing opportunity to showcase their art. It is a longstanding U.S. Capitol tradition and I am looking forward to once again having my office participate in the Congressional Art Competition,” said Congresswoman Fischbach. “I have a deep respect for the work that goes into these pieces and it is wonderful to see the amount of talent we have across the 7th District. I look forward to seeing all the submissions and sharing that talent with the country.”

The competition is open to all public, private, charter, and home school students in grades 9-12. Winning submissions from each congressional district will be displayed for one year in the tunnel from the U.S. Capitol to the Cannon House Office Building, where they will be viewed by thousands of visitors, tourists, and distinguished Members of Congress. The winners will also be highlighted on Congresswoman Fischbach’s social media channels.

Additional guidelines and submission instructions are available at www.fischbach.house.gov/art-competition.

Artwork must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, April 26.
