Tina Marie Sweet, of Frazee, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail on a felony third-degree drug charge.

According to Becker County District Court records, Sweet, 40, sold 10.78 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential reliable informant with the West Central Minnesota Drug and Violent Crime Task Force on Dec. 19, 2021. Sweet was released without bail, under standard conditions of release at her first court appearance in September.

Sweet’s sentence of 30 days in jail comes with the option to serve the month on electronic home monitoring at her own expense. She was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

District Judge Michelle Lawson issued a stay of adjudication on the third-degree drug charge. Should Sweet successfully complete probation the charge will be dismissed.

A second-degree felony controlled substance charge was dropped in a plea agreement and Sweet must complete a comprehensive assessment and follow the recommendations.

She was placed on supervised probation for five years.
