Girls golf team members last week included: Gracie Fales, Ella Perala, Rylee Stock, Lilly Adams, Onalea Maijala, Liberty Peterson and Emma Wiseman.

The Frazee girls golf team participated in three meets last week. 

The first meet was on April 15 with a Heart O’ Lakes tournament at Barnesville for 18 holes in cool, windy and on and off rain. Emma Wiseman and Gracie Fales led the way each with a 108. Lilly Adams had a 111, Rylee Stock a 112, Ella Perala 119, Onalea Maijala a 128 and Liberty Peterson a 136.

Hawley took home the team title while Frazee finished in fifth place. Sophie Cook of Hawley was medalist with a 72.

Frazee’s second meet was also a 9-hole HOL meet at Frazee on April 23 in cool and windy conditions. Wiseman led the way with a 49, Stock had a 58, Fales and Peterson each had a 63, Adams a 64, Maijala a 68, and Emma Beimert had a 79. 

Barnesville edged out Hawley for the team title, while Frazee finished sixth as a team. Cook was medalist with a 40.

The Hornets participated in another HOL meet at Hawley for 18 holes in warm, but brutally windy conditions on Thursday. Wiseman again led the way with a 97 missing out on a sixth place medal by two shots. Adams shot a 108, Stock had a 111, Fales a 115, Maijala a 126, Perala a 130 and Peterson had a 134. 

Hawley won the team title with Cook taking medalist honors with an 80. Frazee finished in fifth place as a team.

The Hornets have two meets this week at Pelican Rapids on Tuesday and at Breckenridge on Thursday.
