The Minnesota State Patrol welcomed 35 new troopers in a ceremony honoring graduates from the 68th and 69th training academies last week.

Graduates, including Kyle Hanson of Frazee and Anthony St. Clair of Waubun, took the oath of office while surrounded by family, friends and current troopers at the University of Minnesota’s Ted Mann Concert Hall Friday, April 19.

Graduating cadets will train with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension before advancing to field training. Cadets are scheduled to begin solo patrols on Wednesday, July 24.

Hanson was assigned to the Fergus Falls beat, while St. Clair was placed in Bemidji.
