The Frazee girls golf team competed in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference nine-hole meet at Birchwood Golf Course in Pelican Rapids on April 30. It was a very tough day as the girls played in a steady rain for all nine holes.

Emma Wiseman led the way with a 49. She was followed by Rylee Stock with a 56, Lilly Adams a 57, Ella Perala a 64 and Onalea Maijala with a 71. 

Barnesville edged Hawley by two shots for the team title, while the Hornets finished in sixth place. Ivy Tickel from Hawley was the medalist with a 42.

On Thursday, May 2 the Hornets competed in another HOL conference meet at the Bois de Sioux Golf Course in Wahpeton, N.D. and Breckenridge, Minn. It was windy and cool with some a few light rain showers. 

Wiseman again led the Lady Hornet golfers with a score of 53. Stock had another 56, Gracie Fales a 57, Perala a 59, Adams a 64 and Liberty Peterson had a score of 71. 

Hawley took first place, while the Hornets tied with Pelican Rapids for fifth place. Sophie Cook from Hawley was the medalist with a 40.

This week the Lady Hornet golf team has just one 18 hole meet at Balmoral Golf Course on Friday for 18 holes.
