Trails Day

Join the North Country Trail Association members for a hike. Meet at the visitor center parking area. Hikers will be shuttled to Pine Lake Trailhead for a 5-mile trek. Bring water, insect repellent and wear sturdy shoes for this journey along Tamarac Lake and through the mixed forest. Want to get to know more of the North Country Trail? Consider these hikes with association members as well: 

June 5, 9 a.m. Hike from the Blackbird Wildlife Drive to the Visitor Center for a total of 4.5 miles. Meet at the visitor center to shuttle to starting point. 

June 15, 9 a.m. Hike from Blackbird Wildlife Drive to 400th Ave. Meet at 400th Ave Trailhead we’ll shuttle to starting point. This hike includes the magical boardwalk through the boreal bog. 

June 19, 9 a.m. Hike from county Hwy 26 to 400th Ave. Meet at the 400th Ave Trailhead for shuttle to starting point.
