Two Frazee natives recently released a professionally recorded EP, “Sparkle and Shine.” Mckay Galbrecht and Cody Kostka are two members of the four-piece band, the Stovepipes, which also includes Detroit Lakes natives Jake Nosal and Alex Phelps. The first major part of the project will begin Tuesday as Sherbrooke Asphalt starts the removal of bituminous surfaces from all streets that are scheduled to be reconstructed, including Main Avenue. Delzer Construction of Fergus Falls has the bid for the project, which will also include replacing water and sewer mains. Anyone curious about the timetable of the project is encouraged to attend a special meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6 in the Frazee Fire Hall.

Selected dates for the reunion are July 27-30, 2000. Co-chairs Jolene Tappe and Lori Nordbeck are asking all interested FHS alumni and former students to attend a brainstorming session on Saturday, Aug. 7, to help make this the reunion of the century.
