After a pair of tough 3-2 losses in non-conference action to open their season, the Hornets hit the road on Thursday night as they traveled to Pelican Rapids to open their Heart O’ Lakes Conference action. Unfortunately, the Vikings were able to stymie Frazee’s offense just enough early on to come away with a 3-0 win in straight sets.

Tuesday

Frazee quickly found itself in a hole on Tuesday night after dropping the opening two games of the night by scores of 25-23, 25-11, but the Hornets fought back to pick up a pair of commanding wins by scores of 25-16 and 25-9 to force a fifth and decisive game. Unfortunately, Lake Park-Audubon was able to get the best of the Hornets and came away with a 15-11 win in the fifth game to secure the 3-2 victory. It was the second straight game the Hornets lost in five games.
