0Hornets to wrap up regular season on Tuesday

The Frazee Hornets dropped a pair of games in the Heart O’ Lanes Conference last week to Breckenridge and Barnesville.
The pair of losses drops the Hornets to 11-11 overall and 3-4 in the conference as they look to rebound this week against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Monday night in their HOL finale, before traveling to Battle Lake on Tuesday to take on the Battlers in non-conference action.
The Section 8AA tournament kicks off next week, and depending on the outcome of the games this week, the Hornets could be at home in the opening round of the tournament.
Tuesday
Jayden Sonnenberg had eight kills and Ruby Eckert finished with 24 digs as the Frazee Hornets fell to Breckenridge 3-0 on Tuesday night. The Hornets dropped the first game by a score of 25-12, before falling 25-15 and 25-22 to come out on the short-end of the HOL Conference game.
In addition to Sonnenberg, Hailee Olson finished with a solid night across the board as she had five kills to go along with a team-high 21 assists and 13 digs.

Thursday
After dropping the first game by a score of 25-22, the Frazee Hornets charged right back in the second game to tie their match against the Barnesville Trojans at one game apiece with a 25-21 win. Unfortunately, the Trojans were able to muscle their way to 25-17, 25-9 wins in the third and fourth games to come away with a 3-1 win over the Hornets.
Ruby Eckert led a balanced offensive attack for the Hornets on Thursday night as she finished with a team-high 10 kills, while Brynn Larson finished with eight and Jayden Sonnenberg finished with five kills.
Hailee Olson kept the hitters busy throughout the night as she had 25 assists, while Analise Olson finished with a team-high 22 digs in the loss. Olson also had a team-high four ace serves as well.
