Frazee made the trek down Highway 10 on Thursday night to participate in one of the largest meets in west central Minnesota. 

The annual Perham Invitational featured 31 teams from across west central and southwestern Minnesota. 

The Hornet boys were led by junior Jonah Sharp who finished in 81st place with a time of 18:40. Freshman Paul Sharp took 111th place with a time of 19:51, while fellow freshman Eli Heston took 149th place with a time of 22:20. There were a total of 165 runners competing in the varsity race. 

On the girls side, a total of 164 varsity runners finished the race. As a team the Hornets took 21st place out of 23 teams that fielded a full roster. 

The girls team ran in a pack throughout the race and was led by junior Lola Hoehne who took 101st place with a time of 22:56. Freshman Madilyn Perrine took 106th place with a time of 23:14, while seventh grader Rilynn Ruiz took 120th place with a time of 24:06. 

Meanwhile, eighth grader Brooklyn Riewer took 124th place with a time of 24:28, sophomore Bristol Larsen took 143rd place with a time of 26:01 and junior Caleigh Pausch took 148th place with a time of 26:27.
