The 10th seeded Frazee Hornets had their season come to an end on Wednesday night at the hands of seventh seeded Perham. The Hornets were able to kick off the match with a thrilling 25-19 win in the opening game of the night, before dropping a heartbreaker 29-27 in the second game to tie the match up at one game apiece.

Ruby Eckert helped the Hornets to a 10th seed in the section tournament. The Hornets ultimately fell to seventh seeded Perham by a score of 3-1.

Unfortunately, Perham used the momentum gained in the second game to take the third game in a commanding 25-6 fashion, before winning the fourth and final game of the night by a score of 25-19 to come away with a 3-1 win.

The Hornets were led offensively by Brynn Larson and Ruby Eckert who each had 11 kills on the night, while Jayden Sonneberg finished with seven.

Hailee Olson kept the hitters busy throughout the night as she finished with 31 assists and 11 digs, while Analise Olson and Eckert led the team with 13 digs. 

The loss ends the Hornets season with a record of 12-13 overall, which was the most wins a Hornet volleyball team has gotten in one season since 2019 when Frazee went 13-12 overall.
