Tiffany Nagel, principal of S.G. Reinertsen Elementary in Moorhead Area Public Schools, has been named the recipient of the Western Division Leadership Award by the Minnesota Elementary School Principals’ Association (MESPA).

This award recognizes Nagel’s exceptional leadership, dedication to fostering a positive school culture, and her commitment to building strong relationships within the school community.

From the friendly smiles of our staff to the kindness and respect shown by our students, it’s evident that we’ve created a nurturing environment where everyone feels supported, valued, and welcomed.”

Nagel’s leadership philosophy is summed up in the belief that “Together We Are Better.”

Her approach to school leadership emphasizes collaboration, strong partnerships, and the importance of creating a nurturing space where students, staff and families thrive. 

“Our collaboration with each other, our students, and their families has been instrumental in achieving our shared goals and creating a positive learning experience for everyone,” she added.

Nagel has a proven track record of excellence in educational leadership. She was previously nominated for the Minnesota NAESP Outstanding Assistant Principal award and currently serves on MESPA’s Education Political Action Committee.

Nagel’s recognition with the Western Division Leadership Award highlights her exceptional work in making S.G. Reinertsen Elementary a vibrant and successful learning community.

Her ability to foster a positive environment and maintain strong relationships with all

stakeholders has made a lasting impact on the school and its students.
