Fly Girls jazz team takes fourth at sections

The Frazee Fly Girls wrapped up their season at the Section 4A competition on Saturday afternoon. The Varsity Jazz Team finished in fourth place, while the Varsity Kick team took sixth place overall. Both teams had their best performances and highest scores of the season at the section competition.
The Frazee Fly Girls had their season come to an end on Saturday at the Section 4A championship in Hawley.
The Varsity Jazz team finished in fourth place, just six total points and two rank points behind Aitkin who took third place. Hawley finished in second place and Crosby-Ironton took first place.
In the Varsity Kick competition, the Fly Girls finished in sixth place behind Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in fifth place, Bagley in fourth place, Hawley in third place, Aitkin in second place and Crosby-Ironton in first place.
The top three teams in each section advance to the state dance competition. Both the Varsity Jazz and Kick had their best performances and highest scores of the season at the section meet.
Head coach Hailey Brower said the dancers really left everything on the floor for both performances.
