Frazee snapped a six game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Breckenridge in the regular season finale last week. The Hornets will enter the sub section tournament with a record of 10-10 overall after finishing in a tie for fifth place in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference. While that standing may change a bit, currently Frazee is in a tie with Hawley at 7-6 and just a half game behind Breckenridge who is 7-5 with several teams wrapping up conference play this week, the Hornets will turn their attention to the sub section playoffs that begin on Thursday.
Frazee is currently in fifth place in the QRF in the north sub section, trailing just Nevis in fourth, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley in third, Sebeka in second and New York Mills in first place.
