Join your library to learn about the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly, from caterpillar to butterfly. Minnesota children’s author Kim Larson will take us through the stages of the butterfly’s metamorphosis with stories and songs. 

Larson is the author of Goat’s Boat Won’t Float. This program is best suited for ages 5-10, and is offered as part of Lake Agassiz Regional Library’s Summer Reading Program, which encourages youth and teens to read to win prizes from June 1-July 31. Learn more at larl.org/explore.

• Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Public Library
