Rodney Osvold and Joe Malakowski from LongView Carbon Farms visited Markay Larson’s second grade classroom during the last week of school. They treated the class with Italian sodas and cookies from the Monarch Coffee House. Earlier this year the students walked to the Monarch and enjoyed cookies donated by Grandma Claudia. While there, Osvold asked if he could treat Larson’s class again before the school year was over. Unfortunately the weather was not in the students favor to walk to the Monarch, but that did not stop them. Osvald and Malakowski decided they would deliver to Larson’s class at school instead. They brought beautiful stickers and coloring books along with delicious cookies and sodas. In addition, they stayed for a bit and talked with students about animals and decoys.
