The Detroit Lakes Public Library will host an Author Visit featuring local Minnesota author Arthur Norby. Norby will discuss his two recently published books, Never Personal and Songs from a Breaking Heart. Never Personal is a historical novel set in rural Minnesota in the 1950s and is the ninth in his Tom Hall Mystery series. Songs from a Breaking Heart is a collection of poetry from the 1970s and several short stories about love, lust, and murder. Norby will also talk about the anatomy of a novel and his approach to storytelling.

The program will be held at the Detroit Lakes Public Library, 1000 Washington Ave., on Wednesday, June 25 at 2 p.m. The program is offered free-of-charge and is open to the public.
