The annual Neighbor to Neighbor spaghetti dinner will be held Thursday, June 26 at the Frazee Event Center from 5-7 p.m. In addition to homemade spaghetti sauce, garlic bread, salad, and homemade desserts. The bar will be available for beverages as well. There will be a freewill offering for this great event.

Neighbor to Neighbor serves area seniors by helping them stay safely at home for as long as possible. Among other services, Neighbor to Neighbor provides free transportation to appointments and for other errands, social get togethers, speakers, foot care services through Essentia, as well as a growing Respite caregivers program. We are able to provide these services because of donations to our agency and because of our dedicated volunteers.

Neighbor to Neighbor has had some changes in staff. As of July 1, Cory Behm is the new director, replacing Don Johnson who has served Neighbor to Neighbor for 13 years. There is a new Social Coordinator, Jan Decker, who will be planning fun activities for people to enjoy. The Respite coordinator, Jane Ofstedal, is growing the program and encourages anyone interested in caregiver respite to contact our office at 218-334-3559. Jason Dulski is the newest addition to the Neighbor to Neighbor board. Sally Paurus, Health and Wellness Coordinator and Mary Olson, Volunteer Coordinator/Assistant Director remain on the staff and in the office, which is open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Plan to attend the spaghetti dinner for a tasty dinner, to meet the staff and board of Neighbor to Neighbor – and to support a worthwhile non-profit organization serving local seniors.
