Vergas Lion and past District Governor Jay Norby was awarded the Ambassador of Good Will Award at a presentation in Las Vegas, Nevada at the USA Lions Summit on June 29, 2025.

The Ambassador of Good Will is the highest, most prestigious award presented by Lions International. It is given to members who have distinguished themselves by particularly noteworthy service. The award is generally awarded to high level Lions for their many years of service. There are only a maximum of 35 awarded each year by the International President of Lions Clubs.
