Angela Kilde recently received recognition for being a role model, leader and all-around positive influence. The recent graduate of Frazee High School was nominated for the Positive Athlete award, which opens the door for a possible scholarship. The process of being nominated can be done by parents, teachers, administrators, fans, or in Kilde’s case, her former dance coach Ta Fett.

As the New Year rang in, Tedene Kills Enemy and Kristin Krejce were ready to say “I do” to their lovely lads. They purchased their dresses, ordered their cake, reserved the venues, all for it to fall apart months before the big day. Karen Taber has been searching Alaska for signs. The 1987 Frazee High School graduate is participating in the Fairbanks, Alaska Trail Challenge, which means finding at least 10 signs hidden along 20 nature trails. Taber learned about the trail challenge from a friend who made a post on social media. Participants need to use clues to find the signs on at least 10 of the trails to accomplish the mission.
