A Frazee man has died following a single-vehicle crash four miles east of Reva, South Dakota on Friday, July 25.

According to preliminary reports, Brian Keith Huber, 58, was driving a 2017 Ford F150 while pulling an enclosed trailer south on South Dakota Highway 79 around 6:37 a.m.

The vehicle crossed the center line and entered the east ditch. The trailer separated from the truck and both the truck and trailer came to rest in a field.

Huber was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead. His spouse Gloria Shalone Huber, 53, a passenger in the vehicle, was not injured. Brian Huber was using a seat belt, while his wife was not, according to a South Dakota Department of Public Safety news release.

The report is preliminary as the crash remains under investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
