With preparations for the Minnesota State Fair in full swing, the Minnesota FFA Foundation is also gearing up for another exciting tradition — the sixth annual Great Minnesota Give-Together Telethon. This signature event celebrates the powerful impact Agricultural Education and FFA continue to have on more than 40,000 students in classrooms across Minnesota.

The Great Minnesota Give-Together Telethon will take place on Sunday, August 24, from 4–8 p.m. The four-hour broadcast will spotlight students and program success from each of the eight FFA regions across the state.

“Agricultural Education and FFA play a critical role in helping young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and discover their future in agriculture and beyond,” says Val Aarsvold, Executive Director of the Minnesota FFA Foundation. “With the excitement of the Minnesota State Fair this month, the telethon offers another meaningful way to celebrate the impact of these programs and invite supporters to invest in the next generation of leaders.”

The telethon will feature performances and messages from students, educators, and agricultural leaders across Minnesota. In addition to highlighting the importance of agricultural education, the event offers individuals and businesses the chance to support life-changing programs by donating to the Minnesota FFA Foundation. Donors will be entered into a drawing for prizes.
