A rural Frazee man was charged with felony threats of violence in Becker County District Court.

Following a 15-day investigation in March of a burglary and assault case against Jaden Michael Pihlaja, 21, law enforcement officers found that Pihlaja threatened a desire to shoot the victim of the assault case, telling the victim’s brother and said it with disregard of the danger of causing terror on the victim, according to court records.

Pihlaja will make his first appearance on the felony threats Thursday, Sept. 11 before District Court Judge Michelle W. Lawson.
