Coltyn Pender and Matthew Sharp competed in the junior high meet last week. Pender finished in sixth place with a time of 12:31, while Sharp finished in seventh place with a time of 12:34.

The Frazee Hornets made the trek west on Thursday afternoon to compete in the Breckenridge-Wahpeton Memorial at the Bois de Sioux Golf Course. 

Lola Hoehne led the way for the Hornets on the girls side as the senior finished in 33rd place with a time of 22:56. Bristol Larsen posted a personal best time of 23:36 to finish in 43rd place. Rilynn Ruiz finished in 68th place with a time of 25:25, Brooklyn Riewer finished in 72nd place with a time of 26:09, Caleigh Pausch finished in 86th place with a time of 28:13 and Madi Perrine finished in 89th place with a time of 28:52. 

As a team the girls finished in 10th place out of 12 teams with a total team score of 253. Davies High School in Fargo won the meet with a score of 40 points. 

On the boys side, Hunter Piekarski led the way by finishing in 52nd place with a time of 21:29, while Talon Hoverson finished in 58th place with a time of 23:02 and William Stroburg rounded out the varsity team with a 63rd place finish with a time of 25:57. 

Bristol Larsen posted a personal best time of 23:36 during the Breckenridge/Wahpeton cross country meet last week. She finished in 43rd place.
