LARL presents ‘Genealogy 101’ with expert Rick Crume

0In observance of Family History Month, genealogy expert Rick Crume will offer a series of Genealogy 101 presentations at locations around Lake Agassiz Regional Library’s (LARL) seven-county region. The presentations will focus on how to access and utilize the genealogy databases available free-of-charge through the library. Crume will be available after to answer questions.
Attendees will learn how to access:
• Historical records from countries around the world
• Family trees with billions of names and in-depth research guides
• Even more historical records on-site at the library than you can view at home
The tour is sponsored by Lake Agassiz Regional Library and will include visits to the following locations which are open to the public:
• Crookston Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m.
• Bagley Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
• Breckenridge Public Library on Friday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m.
• Ada Public Library on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m.
• Hawley Public Library on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.
• Moorhead Public Library on Monday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
• Fertile Public Library on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.
