Lake Agassiz Regional Library will host a series of author visits featuring The Ultimate Minnesota Cookie Book author Lee Svitak Dean’s latest project, a book called Kitchens of Hope. Bringing readers on a culinary journey around the globe, Kitchens of Hope features recipes and stories of immigrants from more than thirty countries and celebrates cuisines from all around the world. The author will discuss the process of writing the book as well as The Ultimate Minnesota Cookie Book.

The tour is sponsored by Lake Agassiz Regional Library and will include visits to the following locations which are open to the public:

• Frazee Library Link Site on Monday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m.

• Detroit Lakes Public Library on Monday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.

• Moorhead Public Library on Monday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m.

• Hawley Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m.

• Ada Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

• Fertile Public Library on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m.

• Breckenridge Public Library on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
