KAOTIC Robotics annual fundraiser Oct. 18

The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) will be holding its annual Conference Championship event for regional High School Robotics teams in Brainerd, Minn., on Friday October 24. 

The event will be held in the gymnasium at Brainerd High School which is located at 702 South 5th Street Brainerd, MN 56401.

This is the NMRC’s eighth annual Championship event which will showcase robots from 27 teams from across Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. The following day, Saturday, Oct. 25, there will be another day of robot action during the NMRC’s Open Tournament which will feature additional teams from outside the conference.

Doors will open to the public at 9 a.m., daily with free admission. This event is great for families and kids as they will have a chance to watch matches, walk through the pits, and speak to teams about their robots.

The event is expected to continue throughout each day with a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the championship matches starting around 5 p.m. Concessions will be available on site.

Fundraiser Oct. 18

The Stags and Tags Purse and More Bingo fundraiser, benefitting Frazee’s KAOTIC Robotics team, will be held Saturday, Oct. 18.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., at the Frazee Event Center, with VIP access allowing entries at 5 p.m. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m.

Gun and purse bingo games will be played. Must be 18-years-old to participate.

General admission tickets are $20.50 online for a meal ticket only. Bingo cards can be purchased at the event. 

VIP tables are available for $1,000.50 and admit eight people.

A taco bar is included, along with a cash bar.
