The Legacy Christian Academy Lions did more than win their tournament game in Perham last weekend. They also spent time cleaning up the storage areas in the Perham Auditorium’s basement as part of their mission work during the trip from Andover.

Last weekend, former Hornet Nathan Bellefeuille, Class of 2009, was in Perham to lead his Legacy Christian Academy Lions against the Hawley Nuggets during the annual Breakdown Crossover Classic.

Bellefeuille has been the Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach at Legacy Christian Academy since 2018.

The Lions defeated Hawley 86-82 to improve to 5-5 this season. However, the team made a bigger impact by doing mission work while in Perham.

The Perham Auditorium Facebook page posted photos of cleanup work the team did there with the following post, “A sincere thank you to the basketball team from Legacy Christian Academy from Andover! They were wanting to give time and talent through a community project. They made quick work of cleaning out the old storage areas beneath the Perham Auditorium before going on to a practice to prepare for a game this weekend. Well done coach and team! We are grateful for your service!”
