Jamie Allen Danzeisen, 54, of Frazee, was sentenced by Becker County District Court Judge Michelle Lawson on a felony charge of second-degree controlled substance crime (related to methamphetamine possession or sale. On Thursday, Dec. 8, Danzeisen was sentenced to 78 months in Minnesota Correctional Facility – St. Cloud with credit for seven days, fined $50 plus $85 in court fees.

On Aug. 21, 2024, a special agent with the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement, executed a search warrant at a rural Frazee residence on Highway 10.

According to court records, multiple people were at the residence, including a woman who identified an aluminum can in her bedroom with several bags containing a white substance. The women claimed ownership of the substance which was confirmed to be methamphetamine.

Also found was a black zippered bag containing two small bags filled with a white substance in a Dodge pickup parked at the residence. 

The pickup truck belonged to Danzeisen, who admitted he kept methamphetamine in his pickup, according to court records.

Testing by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension found 105 grams of meth in the aluminum can and 112 grams in the bag from the truck.

Danzeisen was also sentenced on a misdemeanor theft charge to 90 days in jail, with credit for seven days served, to be served concurrently and fined $50 plus $85 in court fees.

A felony possession of burglary tools charge was dropped in a plea agreement.
