Frazee-Vergas High School alum Amanda Beck, Class of 2024, submitted the Stand By Me Foundation for Bell Bank’s Pay It Forward program. Bell Bank’s Pay It Forward initiative is a philanthropic program where the company gives every full-time employee $1,000 and part-time employees $500 annually to donate to individuals, families, or organizations in need. Since 2008, this program has generated over $31 million in donations. Beck is pictured with Stand by Me founders Kristin and Thaddeus Helmers, who responded to the donation with, “We are incredibly grateful to Bell Bank for their amazing donation. Because of this generosity, the foundation will be able to pay it forward to families whose lives have been impacted by cancer.” Stand By Me is a non-profit organization that provides support to parents and guardians of children age 21 and younger who are battling cancer.
