Frazee completed a season sweep over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in dramatic fashion on Saturday, Jan. 24 with a 78-76 overtime win over the Rebels.

Senior Jayden Sonnenberg finished the game with a double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds, but it was a pair of free throws late in regulation that helped to send the game into overtime.

Once the Hornets got into overtime, Ellie Trieglaff banked in a 3-pointer in the corner to get the Hornets rolling in extra time and gave them a lift to pick up a key conference and section win.

In addition to Trieglaff’s big 3-pointer, head coach Trey Hensius said Leslie Moore had a solid game on the defensive end of the court as she was able to contain Aria Garrett in the post.

In addition to Sonnenberg, senior Brynn Larson was able to overcome foul trouble by recording a double-double of her own with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
