The Frazee Hornets will seek a return to the state wrestling tournament for the first time since 2018 when the Section 8A tournament kicks off on Tuesday night. The Hornets received the second seed in the section after finishing the season with a record of 10-7 overall. 

Frazee will host seventh seeded Barnesville in the opening round of the Section 8A tournament on Tuesday at 7 p.m. with the winner taking on either third seeded Mahnomen/Waubun or sixth seeded Roseau on Friday at 6 p.m. at Fertile-Beltrami.

On the other side of the bracket the defending section champions United North Central received the top seed and will open their section tournament against the winner of eighth seeded Fertile-Beltrami or ninth seeded Crookston. 

Fosston-Bagley received the fourth seed and Badger-Greenbush-Middle River received the fifth seed. The section championship match will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night at Fertile-Beltrami.
