The Detroit Lakes Public Library invites community members to discuss great books and connect with fellow readers during meetings of the library’s two Book Clubs. For those whose schedules allow for evening meetings, the library hosts the After Hours Book Club, which meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at Buck Mills Brewing. The group will meet on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. to discuss Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop by Hwang Boreum and on Thursday, April 2 to discuss If You Lived Here You’d Be Home Now by Christopher Ingraham.

The library’s daytime book club is called the Tuesday Afternoon Book Club and meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Public Library. The group will meet on March 17 at 3 p.m. to discuss Billy Summers by Stephen King and on April 21 at 3 p.m. to discuss Code Girls by Liza Mundy.
