Becker County tire recycling event April 17-21

0The Becker County Landfill will be taking in tires at a free or discounted rate at the landfills in Detroit Lakes April 17-21 and in Osage April 18 and 21.
One to four tires will be accepted free of charge. A fee of $3.75 will be charged for each tire when bringing 5-10. For 10+ tires, the total will be 25 percent off. Truck tires will be 25 percent off each as will tire loads per ton.
The landfill in Detroit Lakes is located at 24413 County Road 144; the Osage landfill is at 23330 County Highway 47. Hours in DL are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday.
Osage is open 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on April 18 and 3-6 p.m. on April 21.
