Frazee junior high golfers continue to improve on the course

The junior high golfers upped, technically downed, their game winning exploits in their latest HOL meet at the Birchwood Golf course in Pelican Rapids on Thursday. Ashton Reller, Ashton Bristlin and Matt Lindell tied for fourth place individually with a score of 45. Landon Rishovd’s score of 50 helped Frazee edge out Dilworth-Glydon-Felton by two strokes.
Despite a cold and winding climate, the ball found its way to the hole. The boys are practicing in these conditions and listening to their coaches. Little by little, they are shaving strokes off of their game. They are staying mentally tough and going through their routines. This may seem mundane to some, but it is necessary and the results are paying off.
So if you see one of these kids going through a routine on the green, don’t try to push them along. They are just trying to get to that next level, and your patience and encouragement will help them get there.
