Frazee girls golfers had two Heart O’ Lakes Conference meets on May 4 at Headwaters golf course in Park Rapids and May 7 at Bois de Sioux golf course in Breckenridge, Minn. and Wahpeton, N.D.

In brutal weather conditions in Park Rapids, the Lady Hornet golfers tied for 14th place out of 20 teams in a tournament that was both an invitational and also an HOL conference tournament. On the HOL side, Frazee tied for seventh place with Breckenridge. 

Natalie Martin was the HOL medalist with a score of 80 while Detroit Lakes Jaycie Slipper won the invitational with a 73. Park Rapids won the HOL portion while Detroit Lakes won the invitational.

On Thursday at Bois de Sioux with Breckenridge hosting, Martin was again the medalist with a score of 76. DGF took home the team title with Frazee coming in at 9th place.

This week we have two invitationals. Monday at Whitetail Run golf course in Wadena and Thursday at Balmoral Golf Course near Ottertail.
