Five artistic interpretations of the scarecrow will be sold to the highest bidders on Saturday, September 19, during the Vergas Back Roads Art Crawl. 

Funds raised will be used by the Vergas Arts Club for their many community projects.

There are nine stops and 15 participating artists – including Carol Albright and Leann Lehner on the edge of Vergas near J&K Marine, Helena Johnson and Luke Fugere at Forest Edge Gallery, among other artists there Marlys Pearson, Karla Urbach, Kris Domier and Ulmerstoneware. Other stops include Lost Highway Pottery and Boutique, Brianna Mae Design, Wildfire Furs, True Blue Flower Co., Leona’s Flowers, Turning Nature, Jody and Sherry Marquardt and Bugsy’s Boutique.

Five of the studios will feature a scarecrow for the fundraiser. They are Carol Schwandt Albright, Luke Fugere at Forest Edge Gallery, Jody and Sherry Marquardt, Brianna Mae Designs, and Gail Pavlacky at Lost Highway Boutique.

The crawl runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
